I am good for any weekend you wish. I am sure Kaeyden will be okay with that as well. The only exception is we are doing the American Heart Association Walk for Charity on February 27th, but we can meet after that. That event is short.

Well that leaves this weekend or next weekend. My vote would be for the 27th based on that so everyone can have enough notice. We should be done and home by noon, so if I could have time for a quick nap before needing to be anywhere that would be perfect.

This is now intended to be the official communications medium for the clan. People really need to sign up since Owain, you're already trying to schedule a meeting using this. I think that's great, but we need more users. Can someone please call around? I have sent enough e-mails today to upset enough people lol
Julie has informed me that Keira's birthday is on the 27th so they will be unable to attend. I suggest we reschedule so that they can be included since the Lindleys and the Palmers are a large portion of our house. Thoughts?

Sorry folks. It seems Kiera's birthday party is probably not going to be on the 27th. I believe that leaves this day open again but will ask Sarah to post the latest skinny.
OK, so I was able to create mass hysteria without even posting a single thing…..awesome!! J/K. So here's the requested skinny re: Kiera's BDay celebration. I know for sure that it won't be on Feb 27th even though that is her actual BDay as Jacque will be flying that weekend. Therefore, if a meeting for the Clan is preferred that day than that would be fine, and count us in! We are shooting for March 6th for Syrene's BDay Pirate Party but won't know for sure until Jacque's schedule comes out in about a week…
So, to sum up….
1. We are GO for a Clan Meeting on Feb. 27th.
2. Shooting for a BDay Party for Syrene on March 6th.

Now that we've batted dates around to no discernible conclusion, where will we do this mythical meeting of the minds? I don't have a problem having the meeting at our place, and I don't think that Roslyn will object. If she does, I'll just have to smack her around a little until she straightens up her act. And if you believe that, I'll find some primo land to sell you, cheap.
We also have the option of having the family gathering and the birthday party on the same day, since you all are invited (in case nobody has said so yet). I would think that the 8 year olds would be done partying by the evening, and then the so-called "adults" could have their own discussion. I might get slapped down by the women, but if I do I can only hope that they do a good job, so I can enjoy it to the max.

Shelly and I are doing a walk for charity on Saturday the 27th. We are willing to host after that if the meeting starts later in the afternoon, which would give us time to straighten up the house. If you want to have this on the 6th, then we need to talk to Scott, Julie, Sarah, and Brad because Keira's birthday party is that day. As Scott suggested, they were willing to host an after-party meeting since they were nice enough to invite us all to her party.
If you can nail down the date, that would probably get you more volunteers.
The 27th or the 6th makes no difference to us. Somebody make up my mind!!! (hehehe)
OK Oenghus - I will help you make up your mind by putting in my vote for the 27th.
The Palmer/Lindley households can host the party either weekend but Syrene will probably be having a sleepover party on the 6th and herding a bunch of 9 year olds is sort of mutually exclusive with having a productive meeting. We don't want to discourage the people who'd like to attend the Pirate Party because Syrene is looking forward to it an awful lot so if combining the two works better for all I'm sure we can come up with some activity to hold off the smalls.
As in most democratic republics, cast a vote or don't whine about the results.
Since the awesome birthday party is on the 6th at the Lindley house I'll offer up our house for the 27th. If everyone wants to show up around 3 or 4 that would be good for us. That should give us enough time to get cleaned up from the walk and get naps out of the way. Does that work for everyone?
Good for me, two to four hours I hope is all that is needed for this meating get you thoughts together. byo J has a small grill.

Jacque is flying this weekend..): We will have to bail at an earlier time than we would normally like to because we're taking the beautiful Syrene out to dinner for her special day…she'll be 9! Wow, I'm gonna cry now….I can't believe she's 9 already!
